I’m a Developer Relations and open source community leader with 15+ years building technical communities, contributor programs, and developer advocacy functions for enterprise Linux and cloud-native platforms. I’m a CNCF Ambassador and an active maintainer on Helm (the Kubernetes package manager) and openSUSE, and I code in Go — I try to stay close enough to the work that I’m building alongside the community, not just talking about it.

Most recently, I led Ecosystems & Communities at SUSE, where I grew community-sourced, rebuilt contribution workflows that helped move developers from users to maintainers. Before that, I led technical community and content strategy at Magenic, where I built a Cloud Practice from concept to a $12 million business unit, and at Advizex, where I stood up a new Emerging Technology Division focused on cloud adoption.

My path here started in .NET and Microsoft development before I moved into cloud platforms — Cloud Foundry, then Kubernetes — and eventually into the open source and community side of the work full-time. I care about translating what developers and contributors are actually telling us into product, content, and business strategy, and about representing engineering teams honestly to the outside world.

I’m based in the Columbus, Ohio area, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration (management information systems) from Kent State University.
